Call For Papers
The PAM conference assembles researchers and practitioners focused on measuring and analyzing networks and networked systems. The venue welcomes submissions advancing measurement techniques, offering fresh analytical insights, or demonstrating novel measurement applications across various domains.
PAM 2027 will be organized as a virtual meeting, with attendees only participating remotely.
Topics of Interest
- Internet and wireless network measurement and analysis
- Cloud, edge, and data center measurements
- Measurement of emerging architectures and applications
- Security, privacy, and resilience through measurement
- New methodologies, tools/software, and data sources for measurement
- User behavior and experience, QoE
- Virtualization (e.g., SDN, NFV)
- Physical layer, routing, transport, application layers, and congestion control
- Replicability and reproducibility
Important Dates
All deadlines are AoE (Anywhere on Earth).
| Abstract registration | October 30th, 2026 |
| Paper submission | November 6th, 2026 |
| Notification of acceptance | December 14th, 2026 |
| Camera-ready deadline | January 15th, 2027 |

Submission Guidelines
Submissions must be original and unpublished. PAM accepts both formats:
- Short papers: up to 11 pages for technical content (up to 5 pages for appendices and references)
- Long papers: up to 24 pages for technical content (up to 5 pages for appendices and references)
All submissions must follow the Springer LNCS format (see here). Reviewers are not obligated to examine appendices; all evaluation materials should fit within the primary page counts.
Double-Blind Review Process
Reviewing will be double-blind:
- Exclude author names and institutional affiliations
- Reference your own previous work in the third person
- Anonymize system identifiers where feasible
- Contact the PC chairs with anonymization concerns
Ethical Considerations
The program committee may raise concerns around the ethics of the work, even if it does not involve human subjects. All papers must include, in a clearly marked appendix section with the heading “Ethics”, a statement about ethical issues; papers that do not include such a statement may be rejected. This could be, if appropriate for the paper, simply the sentence “This work does not raise any ethical issues.” If the work involves human subjects or potentially sensitive data (e.g., user traffic or social network information, evaluation of censorship, etc.), the paper should clearly discuss these issues, in the ethics section.
The Menlo Report and the Allman/Paxson IMC 2007 paper offer guidance. If IRB/ethics committee review occurred, reference the approval number.
Policy on the Use of Generative AI
Generative AI tools and technologies, such as ChatGPT, may not be listed as authors of an ACM published Work. The use of generative AI tools and technologies to create content is permitted but must be fully disclosed in the Work. For example, the authors could include the following statement in the Acknowledgements section of the Work: ChatGPT was utilized to generate sections of this Work, including text, tables, graphs, code, data, citations, etc. If you are uncertain about the need to disclose the use of a particular tool, err on the side of caution, and include a disclosure in the acknowledgements section of the Work.
Important: In light of recent events at other ACM conferences, this year we will be validating references to ensure that papers do not contain hallucinated references. To do this, we will require authors to submit their .bbl file in the submission form. Papers will be desk-rejected if the TPC finds hallucinated references.
Awards
Best Paper Award: recognizes the highest-merit submission overall.
Community Contribution Award: honors papers providing publicly accessible datasets, source code, or platforms in well-documented, long-lived repositories (GitHub, Bitbucket, CRAWDAD) by camera-ready submission.
